May 18, 2018 Roulette 73 Introduction Roulette 73 is simply a roulette game with 73 numbers, numbered 0 to 72, as opposed to the usual 37- and 38-number wheels. As far as I know, the game launched in Slovenia in early 2018. The rules are quite simple. A 73-number wheel is used, numbered 0 to 72. The betting field is in a 6 by 12 array, with the zero.

My question would be why would the casino put in such a low-edge game these days? They seem to want 4-5% and up in edge to make a reasonable ROI.
This is in Europe where single-zero roulette is the norm. I suspect they were trying to be competitive.

Thanks didn’t see that. Is the casino market that much more competitive there than here or are the players just more sharp?

Roulette is big in Europe and everybody is used to single zero. I'm not sure if that roulette 73 was trying to offer a better value or just be something different. I've played in European casinos lots of times and find the caliber of blackjack play to be worse
